A Message From Our District Manager...
The summer water usage season is approaching and the District again has plenty of water to serve out customers. We would again ask that you would not over-water (three days a week should be more than enough for a lawn), repair any leaks promptly and do not water during the heat of the day, which is from 10:00AM to 6:00PM.
The District would ask our customers to be cognizant of anyone that appears out of place around one of the District tanks, pump stations or fire hydrants. We have a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system that remotely monitors certain parameters of selected sites, but the size of our service area (324 square miles) can use a watchful public. Report anything suspicious to our office number, (970) 356-3020, which is answered 24 hours a day.
The District is continuing to improve service to our customers with the construction of line loops, line replacement, a main line from the Filter Plant and numerous water storage projects. Upgrading the water system is and will continue to be an ongoing project to provide you, our partners, the best service possible.
Have a Safe Summer
Don Posselt, District Manager
