Important Update for Commercial Customers:

A New Opportunity to Secure Your Full Water Allocation

The District has recently initiated a revised policy and new procedures to help existing commercial customers who are currently using more water or system capacity than they’re officially allocated. If you fall into this category, now is a great time to bring your usage into alignment and avoid future surcharges.

Existing commercial sector customers that have under allocated meters - with either or both water allocations or plant investments, will need to enter into a Water Service Agreement (WSA) which will allow them to reach  ‘Full Allocation.’ This ensures that your actual use is fully supported and recognized by the District moving forward.

To get started, simply review the Letter of Intent (LOI) and contact the District to assist you in  preparing a LOI submittal. The LOI is available on our website which outlines the steps to begin the process -https://www.nwcwd.org/forms

This is a proactive way to plan for your future needs while securing predictable, uninterrupted service and avoiding surcharges in the future.

Why act now?
If you're currently using above your allocation but don’t take part in this process, the District cannot guarantee additional water or capacity in the future.

Please be aware that any under allocated customers that do not enter into a LOI and WSA in accordance with this Policy shall, annually, after publication of water quotas need to request additional water supply above their current allocation. In no event shall the District be obligated to provide additional water supply above a customer’s allocation, and the District cannot guarantee the availability of additional capacity above any customer’s allocation.

We appreciate your partnership and want to ensure you have every opportunity to plan confidently for the future. Don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to make this process as smooth as possible.

Please contact the District with any questions you have after looking over the website and the posted LOI.
